We accept all major credit cards (via Square). Invoices are emailed, and you can pay online. For your convenience, we offer an auto-pay option if you’d like to save a card on file for us to charge when invoices are due.
Weekly Music Lessons
Payment is due on or before the 1st lesson of the month. Payment at the beginning of each month reserves your recurring weekly time slot for that month. Your monthly tuition rate is based on an expectation that you will have 38 lessons during the 42-week school year, August through May. This allows students to take off 4 unpaid weeks throughout the year.
In June and July students may choose to continue weekly lessons, but tuition isn’t required and we switch to a la carte / single lessons billing for all students.
Single lessons may be purchased and scheduled upon request, without a regular time slot.
Summer Music Lessons:
During June and July – we know it’s tough for students to commit to weekly lessons, so we offer single lessons billing to all students for their convenience.
Contact your teacher via phone, text and/or email to cancel your lesson. Your lesson is officially canceled after we respond to confirm we’ve received your cancellation notice. Cancel without any notice (no call/no show) and you will be charged full price for your missed lesson.
Make Up Lessons Policy (click link for detailed policy)
Since we teach in students’ homes over a large teaching area, our availability for Make Up Lessons is often limited and can’t always be guaranteed. However, we like to offer a make up lesson under the following circumstances (subject to teacher availability):
- Student cancels at least 24 hours before their scheduled lesson time.
- Student cancels due to illness or family emergency at least an hour before their scheduled lesson time (we don’t want students to share their sick germs with us!!).
- Your teacher cancels the lesson
Permanent Cancellation / Discontinuing Music Lessons:
You may permanently cancel lessons at any time. When you choose to permanently cancel lessons, you forfeit any lesson credits or make up lessons you may have on your account.
Inclement Weather Policy:
When school and other activities are canceled on storm days, the weather has frequently cleared by lesson time in the afternoon or evening. Your teacher will let you know if they need to cancel lessons due to unsafe weather and driving conditions.
Lessons are canceled for all major national holidays.
